Simple Mending Service for the Over 60s

Trousers too long? Hem coming down? Mending needed but eyesight and fingers making things difficult? It’s frustrating when you’ve just washed and ironed a garment – and then you discover it needs a minor repair. I know of someone who makes great use of safety pins but if you want a more professional finish then this is for you.

 Wendy is starting a new simple mending service at the Jenner Centre in June on Thursday afternoons from 2pm. You can drop things off….. and will be able to collect them the following week.

Zip replacement may be possible but you’d need to supply the colour and size of zip.

Prices start at £5 but the final charge will be assessed when you call in with your article on Thursday between 2 and 4pm.
