Scarf

Scarf, not the one you wear, is the organisation which delivers energy efficiency advice and services to households across Scotland.  They offer free and impartial advice on making homes warmer, along with assessing people for schemes they may be entitled to (such as Warmer Homes Scotland who will carry out a variety of measures if eligible, or other local authority schemes) but are also able to signpost to other agencies.

There are also energy carers who can visit people who maybe need a little extra help in understanding bills, switching energy suppliers, dealing with fuel debt and much more.

Having spoken with one of their representatives, we are contacting them to discuss the possibility of having some input from them at The Jenner Centre.  Look out for more information in future issues.
