First Aid Training

,

Following the success of the CPR training it seemed time to find out whether you would be interested in coming to first aid classes. If you are able to deal with simple injuries at home you will avoid the need to travel to minor injury units elsewhere in Angus. Travel is often a problem whether it be asking for a lift, trying to find a bus or getting a taxi. If the injury can be treated at home this would make it easier all round.

Changes are coming regarding the location of MIUs (Minor Injury Units) throughout Angus although at the moment we are not sure where this provision will be available.  This will inevitably entail travelling so some knowledge of how to deal with minor injuries at home with simple first aid would be very useful.

We have contacted the Red Cross who will provide whatever first aid training is required. Maybe you need to know about treating minor injuries in children or maybe it’s first aid in general. Maybe you need to know what to have in a first aid box at home.

Let us know what you think about this, whether you are interested and when would be a suitable time to hold these sessions be it through the day or in the evening.
