From our Chairman

,

Representatives from Brechin Healthcare Group (BHG) met with board representatives of NHS Tayside at the beginning of April and the positive and constructive feedback for our proposals was greatly appreciated. A press release on the meeting has been agreed and has been sent to a variety of local media outlets.

Due to a necessary change in our funding application to the Scottish Land Fund our initial application had to be withdrawn. It is now being revised and will be submitted during July with a decision made at the beginning of August.

A meeting is being arranged for early August between representatives of BHG and representatives from Angus Integration Joint Board (AIJB) and Angus Health and Social Care Partnership (AHSCP). The meeting will enable us to share our proposals with AIJB/AHSCP as we look forward to working collaboratively with them in developing a social prescribing programme which will benefit all in our community.
